Bahati Foundation, Kit Karzen Foundation and the Los Angeles County
Bike Coalition Join Forces to Help Children with ADHD
LOS ANGELES (March 26, 2012) – The 1000Bikes.org Foundation, along with a number of other cycling non-profits, have banded together to help children who are part of their respective organization’s mission.
1000 Bikes, which is dedicated to provided bicycles to foster children; Bahati Foundation, which supports inner-city youths through its educational, health and fitness initiatives; and the Kit Karzen Foundation, which uses cycling as a way to help children and teens with attention deficit Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), will be giving two foster children diagnosed with ADHD a jammed-packed day of cycle-inspired fun as they prepare for the LAX Circuit Race taking place Sunday, April 22 in Westchester, California presented by Back On Track Productions and the Bahati Foundation.
The two deserving youths will have a personal training session with pro cyclist Rahsaan Bahati and rising star Kit Karzen. They will then race in the LAX Circuit Race, taking place on April 22.
On their new bike, provided by Cynergy Cycles, the two youths will be surprised as 1000Bikes.org will announce they are buying the bikes for them as a way to say ‘thank you’ for their great ride in the LAX Circuit Race. As no cyclist is complete without his or her helmet, two helmets will also be donated by 1000Bikes.org
The entire event will be videotaped and posted online for the global community to see this great event from beginning to end! Available at Http://BikeTalks.tv
